Now, we're just back at home watching none other than the Food Network; Rachel Ray can get annoying, but it's the only channel I watch. I made some RIDICULOUS meatballs last night and then sometime near 4:20, I turned them into sandwiches - Sourdough toast, a layer of melted mozzarella, layer of meatballs, and a layer of goat cheese on the other side.
I Die Meatballs:
1 lb. Ground beef/turkey
2 Cloves of chopped garlic
1 Egg White
1 Cup Seasoned Bread Crumbs
2 tsp. Season Salt
2 tsp. Pepper
2 tsp. Italian Seasoning
Mix everything together while heating 2 table spoons of olive oil in a pan
at medium heat. Make 10 even balls and place them gently in the oil, browning
them for about 5 minutes before turning them and cooking for another 4-5 minutes.
Simmer a jar of pasta sauce in a large pot, place the golden meatballs in the sauce
until sauce in thoroughly heated, put on a delicious sandwich or ontop of pasta.
i haven't eaten crap all day and the blog had to be about food. hooray
